Why I Create

Creating art has always been more than a hobby — it’s how I process the world, express gratitude, and worship God.

Creating art has always been more than a hobby for me — it’s how I process the world, express gratitude, and worship God. Every time I pick up a pencil or brush, I’m reminded that creativity is a gift. Not something I earned or developed on my own, but a gift from the One who created everything. The story of Bezalel in Exodus has been a guiding light for my art journey. God chose Bezalel and filled him with artistic skill for a specific purpose. That tells me our creative gifts aren’t random — they’re intentional. And they’re meant to be used. So I create. Not for fame or recognition, but because I believe beauty matters. Stories matter. And art has a unique way of starting conversations about things that truly matter.
